How to organise rooms in different custom groups in Heybase

Heybase allows you to organize your rooms into different groups, providing a folder-like structure to manage your rooms effectively. This guide will walk you through the steps to create groups, add rooms to them, and perform other group-related actions in Heybase.

Creating a New Group

  1. Go to the Heybase dashboard.

  2. On the left sidebar, click on the "+" icon beside the "Groups" section.

  3. In the pop-up window that appears, enter a name for your new group in the "Group Name" field.

  4. Click on the "Create Group" button.

  5. Your new group will be created and displayed in the dashboard.

Creating New Rooms in a Group

  1. To create new rooms within a group, click on the "Create New" button on upper right corner.

Adding Existing Rooms to a Group

  1. Go to the Heybase dashboard and navigate to "All Rooms".

  2. Select the rooms you want to add to a group by checking the corresponding checkboxes.

  3. Click on the move icon located beside the "All Rooms" title.

  4. A dropdown menu with a list of groups will appear.

  5. Select the desired group from the dropdown menu.

  6. The selected rooms will be moved to the chosen group.

Deleting or Renaming Groups

  1. Go to the Heybase dashboard.

  2. Hover over the group you want to delete or rename in the left sidebar.

  3. Click on the three-dot icon that appears.

  4. Choose the desired option from the dropdown menu to delete or rename the group.

By following these steps, you can effectively organize your rooms into groups in Heybase.
